One of the most important products we can provide to YOU, our customers, is improved air quality inside your home. While “Indoor Air Quality” refers to a variety of factors, foremost among these is effective filtration of air pollutants, many too small to be seen by the naked eye. Bob’s Heating offers a 4″ Pleated Media Filter. This filter is rated 20 to 30 times more effective than 1″ spun fiberglass filters, and can remove even microscopic particles. This provides personal protection, as well as improved furnace efficiency and economy, and can even protect home furnishings and attachments.
With the enhanced performance of the Pleated Media Filter, it is critical that filters be changed regularly, normally at 90-day intervals. The average 1″ spun fiberglass filters should be changed every 30 days. Failing to change filters can reduce airflow and may result in damage to your furnace.
Our 1-Year and 3-Year Automatic Air Filter Replacement Programs include a 4″ pleated media filter delivered to your door via UPS every 90 days. We offer six different filter sizes; please be sure to indicate the model number that matches your system.
