Refund Policy

At Bob’s Heating & Air Conditioning, we stand behind everything you purchase through our website — whether that’s a product shipped to your door or a service plan for your home. Please review the sections below based on your purchase type, or contact our Customer Service team with any questions.

Products

Products that have not yet shipped from our warehouse are eligible for a refund upon request. Once an item has shipped, it is no longer eligible for a refund, regardless of use or condition.

If you believe you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us, and a Customer Service Representative will review your order and advise on next steps.

Air Filter Replacement Programs (AFRP Subscriptions)

If you are enrolled in a recurring air filter delivery program and wish to cancel:

  • A refund of $20.00 per remaining filter will be issued for filters that have not yet shipped from our warehouse at the time of cancellation.
  • If you cancel after your first filter has shipped, you will be charged the full single-filter retail price and will forfeit program discount pricing for that order.
    • Example: If your program price was $135.00 and the single-filter retail price is $49.99, a balance of $85.01 would be due upon cancellation.
  • If you have already received more than one filter, the $20.00 per remaining unshipped filter refund policy applies.

Filters that have already shipped are not eligible for a refund regardless of use.

Services

Maintenance & BGM Subscriptions

If you have purchased a maintenance plan or BGM subscription and wish to cancel:

  • Refunds are available at $129.00 per remaining service visit, provided that at least one service has already been completed.
  • For plans that include additional equipment, a refund of $80.00 per unused service visit applies.
  • If no services have yet been completed, please contact us directly — eligibility will be reviewed on an individual basis.

Special Service Plans

Refunds may be issued at $50.00 per remaining service after the first has been used, per piece of equipment, per year.

Labor Extension Agreements

Labor extension agreements are non-refundable under any circumstances, regardless of whether services have been used.

How Refunds Are Processed

 All refund requests must be reviewed and approved by a Customer Service Representative. Approved refunds are issued every Thursday.

  • Purchases made within the past 90 days will be refunded to the original credit card used at checkout.
  • Purchases outside of this window may be refunded via check mailed to your address on file.

Refund eligibility is based on the terms active at the time of purchase. Bob’s Heating & Air Conditioning reserves the right to review requests on a case-by-case basis and make exceptions at its sole discretion.
