The two-speed technology of the model 187 ensures that your family will experience the ultimate in cool comfort and energy efficiency. 70-80% of the time, the Model 187A runs at a lower speed allowing the cool air to circulate throughout your home for longer periods of time. This helps to create consistent temperatures throughout your home. Longer cooling cycles also reduces the amount of humidity in your home so that you’ll feel more comfortable at the same temperature setting.

Environmentally Friendly
The refrigerant used in most home comfort systems; Freon-22 will soon be phased out by federal law. When a refrigerant is phased out, the cost of servicing products using that refrigerant rises dramatically.

Puron refrigerant replaces Freon-22 with proven efficiency and comfort.
