Heating & Air Conditioning for New Construction Homes

New Construction homes

Whether you are a builder or looking for someone to do installations on multiple homes during construction or you’re an individual having your own house built and want to have certain amenities included, the experts here at Bob’s Heating & Air Conditioning are here to help.

We’ve been serving customers across Greater Tacoma, WA and Seattle Metropolitan area for more than fifty years, and our technicians have extensive experience with new construction home installations. Whether it’s a furnace, air conditioning and heating system or hot water heaters, we’ve got what it takes to get the job done right.

Furnaces

When it comes to gas furnace installation, no one in the area has more experience and expertise than we do here at Bob’s. We offer only top of the line products designed to meet the specific needs of our consumers.

The furnaces we install come in several different models and sizes, so you can choose the one that best fits with the size of your home and your heating needs. Our technicians can also help you evaluate your options in this regard so you end up with the best possible product.

Matching the size and power of the furnace to your home’s dimensions and your own particular heating preferences is very important. A furnace that’s too powerful for the size of your home will be switching off and on a lot, leading to excess wear and tear on the parts.

A furnace that’s too small, on the other hand, will have to work too hard to heat your home effectively. This is likely to lead to higher energy bills and a shorter lifespan for your furnace. And on top of all that, a smaller furnace might not even be able to get your house up to a comfortable temperature anyway.

Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps

If you’re looking for more of a comprehensive heating and cooling package, Bob’s offers a variety of air conditioning and heating systems as well. These types of systems are very effective at keeping the temperature in your home comfortable all year round.

If this is the type of system you think you’d like in your home, it’s definitely worth having it installed during construction rather than afterwards. Putting in a system of air ducts takes time and is rather invasive if your home has already been completed.

On the other hand, integrating the duct system into a new home while it’s under construction is much easier and will save you plenty of time, money and inconvenience in the long run. Alternately, you can opt for a ductless split system, which we also install as well.

While ductless systems don’t involve the same level of invasive installation as ducted ones, you can still save time and money by having them installed as part of new construction rather than post construction.

Hot Water Heaters

Any new home needs a hot water heater, and Bob’s has just what you’re looking for in that regard as well. We offer both tank and tankless hot water heaters designed to provide you with the very best in terms of energy efficiency and performance.

Our technicians are specially trained to install these products in new construction homes, and we’ll gladly work with builders and new homeowners to make sure that everything goes according to plan and that new hot water heaters are installed and working on time.

No job is too big or too small for Bob’s. If you’re looking into having a new home built or are a builder hoping to hire a contractor for large-scale installations, we’re happy to hear from you. Give us a call today to let us know what we can do for you.

Preliminary Mechanical Design

AutoCAD and hand drawn

Reduce framing costs by having the HVAC system designed with the framing in mind.

Heating and Cooling Load Calculations

Many jurisdictions require local load calculations which our Design Team can provide. Load calculations also ensure that the correct system is being used for the plan and can aid in the permitting process.

Mechanical Drawings

Mechanical drawings are kept on file to allow consistency when a plan is repeated.

Accurate Material Lists

The system is designed ahead of time so there is reduced time in the field for layouts with fewer equipment and part errors.

Changes and Plan Addendums

If changes need to be made, our Design Team can quickly and accurately make changes before the system is installed.
