If you have no plans this weekend, you might consider dropping by the Kirkland Performance Center to check out a performance of The Music Man!
This show is brought to us by the Lyric Light Opera, and they do a great job with this Broadway classic. For those unfamiliar with the story, The Music Man is about a con man that travels to a small town in Iowa and poses as a band leader to sell the townspeople musical instruments. All goes well until he meets Marian Paroo, a librarian who sees right through him. Not only is this show very funny, it also features some classic musical numbers like “Seventy-Six Trombones” and “Gary, Indiana.”
The Music Man is a great time for the whole family, and this weekend is the last performance of it at the Kirkland Performance Center, so don’t miss out! Click here for more information.
